It was a law vetoed by Obama that said no ex-president could make over $400,000 in a single year or they lose their pension, now we know why Obama vetoed the law, but the authors of the law may bring it back up for Trump to sign into law.

Meh. Once again drop in the bucket when you can make that much in a day just by showing up somewhere and yakking about bullshit, which is what politicians live for anyway. Frankly we're not being bankrupted by presidential pensions or trump's golf game so I could care less.

Obama ran against Wall Street and now he is taking $400,000 from Wall Street for a speech, because they want something is return.

That's been the whole point of the thread.  It's not Obama making money, it's the hypocrisy.

They want something in return? They do know he's not president any more, right?

I assume, rather, that this is payola for what he already did as president.

Obama can still influence what happens even though he's not the President.

I heard Obama was giving another speech for 3,000,000 dollars, nobody gives that kind of money unless they are getting something in return.
