Good for him. Good for the Ravens. He will do well. Glad he didn't go to LA.

So many times I have seen this fool beat his receiver down the field and Smith neglected to launch it to him.

He's been held back. Still very much in his prime

He'll be lucky to get 1000 yds, definitely not a #1.

With better offensive linemen, either the Chiefs finish the game with a kneel-down instead of a punt, or they score on more of the prior possessions.

Strong offensive lines and strong defenses underpin nearly every Super Bowl-winning team. Especially could that be said of the Ravens. What was the last Super Bowl-winning team where you thought, "They won in that year because they had one of the best punters in the league"?

But you can lose with the shittiest punter in the league toio.

Ravens defense nearly blew a 22pt leqad in the 2nd half of the SB Win. Get off the crack.

Doesn't need to be- Noodle arm Alex is no longer his QB.

Now he has a real QB, with a real arm, his old OC and a playbook that is familiar.

I don't know, maybe because he has only averaged about 900 yards a year for the past 7 years. Or that Flacco averages about 3,600 yds per year and if you split that amongst 3 or 4 receivers it equals out to roughly 900 yards per receiver. Flacco had 3 receivers with over 100 catches, two of them ended up with about 700 yards, the third had about a 1000 yards.

You're right, what was it, oh yea the #1 for the Ravens had 1017 yards, #2 had 799 and #3 (TE) had 729. So where is his yards going to come from. Take it away from Wallace, don't think so. Replace Smith at 799, still not 1000 yards. Besides, in his past 7 years he's gone over 1000 twice.

If the Chiefs could have kept him for 6 mill that would have been nice but 11 mill is way to much for him. Baltimore paid almost the same on a 2 year deal as he would have cost KC just this year. I guess he found out he wasn't worth 11 mill.

Wallace and Maclin will be a nice duo if they can keep Flacco upright.

Pitta-                729....career ending hip dislocation

Smith sr            799....retired

Aiken                329....signed with Indianapolis

total                1,857 yds

1,857 yards for Maclin to carve out 1200yds and leave some left over for the others.

Hmm considering Maclin is better than those receivers tells me he'll be unlucky to get 1000

The game would have been a joke if the power hadn't gone out. You know it. Let it go.

Don't get me wrong, I like Maclin and was glad the Chiefs got him. I hoped he would be that shot in the arm they needed. Unfortunately he wasn't. However, I look at his work and don't see a #1 WR and don't see him being a consistant 1000 yard receiver if at all.

WR1's catch the ball when it's thrown to them. Maclin's latest year might have been defined by distractions arising from personal tragedy, and I can excuse that. The problem is that the Chiefs needed a WR1 last year, and they didn't have one.
