Obama and the Dems were lazy, they should have passed laws instead of using "the pen and the phone"

Looks like we have a new participant, welcome Niribu.

Warning, there are no participation trophies here for posting.

If you put forth a valid argument and support it, you will prosper.

If you post MSNBC / CNN / ABC /CBS / NBC talking points without support, you will have a long day.

Sorry. I just can't seem to find anything in your putdown that even comes close to addressing anything I posted. Did you have a response or do you just wish to rant about nothing? Please point out where I mentioned wealth inequality or entitlement costs. If your only point is to stir the pot, you're to late. OC has dibs on that job.

i think the main argument is that wages are not rising with cost of living. Not that they just deserve 15 an hour. And skilled blue collar jobs should pay way more than they do as well.

Hey I agree wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living. The problem that many people forget when wanting to raise wages are the unintended consequences. If costs increase for a business owner, he’s going to raise prices to compensate. If I own an apartment building in a poor part of town and I’m charging 500 a month for rent, and my tenant base suddenly has more disposable income, then more people can afford my apartments so now I raise costs because people will pay it. It’s all supply and demand. Now all of a sudden the people who got raises don’t have more disposable income because the cost of living just raised a similar percentage.

Globalization and outsourcing combined with technology are the primary reasons wages aren’t rising. Don’t get me wrong, I’m in favor of free trade, but I also understand the consequences. Cheaper goods mean cheaper wages just like more expensive wages means higher priced goods.

Well, since you quoted my post before going off on a rant that had nothing to do with it, it was easy to assume you were responding to something I posted.  Not sure what your purpose was.

I like to try to be funny
I had 15,000 posts on the Scout Royals board that were mostly poking fun at whatever the narrative was

If I rub you the wrong way it was most likely an attempt to make lite of something you posted

And sometimes I am just a dick

Either way I don't mean any harm

Mostly I just try to make people smile and if it is at your expense that is unfortunately part of it

This board seems to have some Hard right posters and most likely they won't like me

But I will lay it out right here

We are all in this together
We use the same roads , drink the same water and all of our waste goes in the same pond
We look at politics differently
But if necessary I will fight right beside you

My goal is to have fun and put a smile on a few faces

I was born with a knack for matching and mirroring
So if someone is a free radical you can expect me to match them with a radical response

Bottom line is we are all on the same team at the end of the day

Nibiru......Its okay to be funny.   And its okay to go for the cheap laugh.   And its okay to be a dick.  A lot of the stuff we whine about is small shit.   Laughter is still the best medicine.

Yoda is my all time favorite

I am no victim, and have no particular ax to grind , I am simply infatuated with politics and truth be told would probably be sick to my stomach if Hilly had won
From a spectator perspective Trumps getting elected has been fantastic
It has put politics at the top of the news every single day

The only thing other than how many people will be hurt by changing domestic social policy, is the threat of Trumps getting us into WWIII

I don't trust him with the button

But for pure entertainment it couldn't be better than it is right now

No problem, we all have thick skins here.  I just didn't understand your response and it seemed a bit aggressive since it didn't even address the subject.  I'll try to laugh next time you post.
