No, I have been out for awhile.

I already have a call into the Dean (retired) about something else.

It is a disaster. This professor wrote about things "as he saw them" and for the most part, they are true.

The Superintendent was all about "the PC culture" and that meant changing standards. My friends did indicate that "the football team is getting in the same kids that they would have rejected int he past, as they are now trying to beat Navy?"

All Hell is breaking out in the OLD GRAD Network. More to follow.

I think many of the  Higher institutes for learning have had that problem..Notre Dame had the same issue way back when. Jerome Bettis was no scholar neither was Rocket Ishmael (Sp?) or Tony Rice.. they had full time tutors. I actually know Bettis's, she's a Orthopedic Dr. now. Schools that want to compete have to lower their standards or face losing. ND thought they could attract better/smarter just because they were ND..they got a rude awakening . I am sure Stanford has had that internal discussion as well.

Thing is about West Point they are not nor should ever be known as a Football Powerhouse, they have a higher calling.. they certainly seem to have their priorities scrambled.

The football thing is one thing. They are admitting the same type of "borderline kids" that Navy and Air Force have been admitting for the past 20 years. Hence 15 years of losing to Navy before last year.

That is not right and I agree with you. Football is not what the American Taxpayer is paying for.

They are paying for leaders with Character and Intelligence.

I can assure you that this prof has stirred up a Hornets nest to say the least.

People will retire of be relieved now that there has been a regime change at the top.

I hear you, but how much of a percentage of the class is the football team?

Still all very hazy....No "official details"...

There are serious jobs on the line here.
